The Broken Bay Scout Group has 2 halls to choose from. Both are centrally located with one at Ettalong Beach and the other at Umina Beach. Details of fees and facilities are outlined below:
Hall Hire Fees
Hourly Hire Rate: $30 per hour
Bond: $250
Overnight Fees: $6 per person per night (Only available to Scout Groups, Scouting Members and their immediate family members)
Umina Scout Hall
Address: 3 Carawa Street, Umina Beach
The Umina Hall is located in a cul-de-sac next to Club Umina and backs onto some fantastic sporting facilities including the Col Gooley Oval, Peninsula Recreation Precinct, Tennis Courts, BMX track and Skate Park. It’s also only a 6 minute walk to the beautiful Umina Surf Beach. The Umina Town Centre is only a 12 minute walk (2 minute drive). There is some parking onsite plus lots of parking along Carawa Street.
Hall Facilities Include:
- Fully fenced yard
- Grassed kids play area
- Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, stovetop, microwave, cookware, crockery and cutlery
- Separate male and female toilets with shower facilities
- Tables and chairs
This hall is available for hire to community groups, clubs & societies and to the general public for both short term and long term (regular) bookings. Overnight bookings (eg. camping) are also available for Scout Groups, Scouting Members and their immediate family members only.
